My experience…

…as a leadership coach:

A successful 5-year career in banking in Brazil and the US gave me an important early age introduction to the pressures of corporate life. Being the owner and main leader of a thriving corporate training organization in Portugal for more than 20 years has also given me the start-up entrepreneur risk taking experience so important in today’s scenario. Sixteen years as an Insights practitioner and faculty allowed me to assist many team, department and organizational leaders in their development journeys. I currently hold an ICF PCC credential and have coached more than 600 hours to over 100 leaders at top global e-commerce, fashion, and pharmaceutical companies. I’ve also been conducting pro-bono coaching processes helping leaders who’ve been highly affected by the current pandemic. I’ve also been receiving executive coaching supervision regularly.

…as a team coach:

I had already designed and facilitated hundreds of team building and development programmes using Insights tools before taking my specific training in team coaching. Since then I have coached the re-launch of tens of leadership and operational teams (many of them virtually) at several top travel, fashion, pharmaceutical and e-commerce organizations. In my role as faculty of 6 Team Conditions model I’ve prepared cohorts of new team coaches and leaders to apply the model and lead their teams to the next level. I’m also pro-bono coaching the re-launch of the leadership team at a Portuguese charity that’s providing food and clothing to many families in need during the pandemic. My team coaching experience has been regularly supervised by my colleagues at 6 Team Conditions.

…as a designer & facilitator of talent development programmes:

Being trained and performing as a Business English headtrainer exposed me to excellently designed training materials and applying them to the different targets in the tens of thousands of courses delivered gave me a wealth of experience. Working with Insights provided me with more sophisticated learning material and countless hours of practice opportunities to develop my designing & facilitating skills for personal development programmes. The M.Sc. degree and the formal coaching training gave me in-depth knowledge about the best practices and scientific evidence of human behaviour and development in organizations. Facilitating leadership development courses for Brazil’s largest private employer allowed me to work with top quality materials designed for developing advanced leadership skills. More recently, I’ve designed and facilitated several virtual courses on topics such as Corporate Communications, Conflict Management, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion successfully combining virtual meetings and collaborative work platforms.
